Abstract

Panchakarma is a very unique therapeutic procedure because of its preventive, promotive and rejuvenate properties as well as providing the radical cure. Shodhana is entity that is associated with the removal of Mala (morbid Doshas) from the body. Vasti is the most important Panchakarma chikitsa among all Panchakarma due to its multiple effects. Charaka has considered, Vasti chikitsa as Ardha Chikitsa of all the disease, while some authors consider it as the complete remedy for all the ailments.
