Abstract

Surrogacy is an artificial reproductive method which is becoming more common in India due to increase in urge of
parenthood of infertile couples. India is also being known for commercial country for surrogacy since 2002. It mainly
includes legal, social and ethical aspects of pregnancy. For its various socio-economic reasons, surrogacy has become a topic
of deep interest amongst the government of different nations, medico legal luminaries as well as public at large. Thus, this
article aims to give adequate knowledge about surrogacy and its laws, rules and regulation.
